  • Worpsweder Mühle: Built in 1838 as an “Erdholländer” windmill, it has been considered a local landmark ever since. After extensive restoration, it is once again fully operational, and when the wind is favorable, its sails turn just as they did in days gone by. Part of the Lower Saxony Mill Route
  • Galleries and arts-and-crafts shops, as well as numerous cafés and restaurants
  • Hammestrand: A beautiful swimming spot near Worpswede (Neu Helgoland) for relaxation and perhaps a refreshing dip in the Hamme
