Blockland is only a few kilometres from Bremen city centre, yet you feel like you are in the middle of nature. The local recreation area provides a protected habitat for many fish, birds and plants. The dyke is ideal for cycling, inline skating, walking or canoeing. There are numerous farm shops where you can stop for a break.

•     Water birds can be observed at Kuhgrabensee lake
• Enjoy delicious organic ice cream at the Kaemena organic farm
• The Bavendamm organic farm cultivates its meadows and pastures in an environmentally friendly manner, thus making a significant contribution to the conservation of endangered animal and plant species
•  The Stadtwaldsee lake is the perfect place to take a break or go for a swim
